Got bit. God... they... they got Aces. Bastards snuck up behind him. We were pinned in Lord Hall... We were stupid. Every exit... just waiting there grinning. Monsters. I ran out and thought I could make a break for it. There were more around the corner. I lashed out, coyote in a corner. I turned to run, got a few more, while Shuma backed me up. I got surrounded but pushed my way through. God they bit me.... they bit be. I....I... thought there'd be release but I'm just angry. Angry at myself. Angry at those monsters. Shuma. God help him.
